This airbox has been tested on our flowbench vs the factory box as well as dyno testing. Our unit does not need any extensions for IAT - plugs right in. This is not a race only option but can be used on every street bike. It uses a readily available aprilia RS660 air filter so you don't have to worry about finding a filter or fitting foam to it as well as having the option to run race style sprint filters or good street DNA/ K and N filters. The DNA/K and N and Sprint filters require different lids so please select the filter you'd like to run. This box has integrated velocity stack trumpets designed into it already so there is no installing velocity stacks. It has couplers to attach it to the throttle bodies for a factory seal and uses a rigid mount under the tank bracket so it is fully secured and cannot come loose, vibrate off, or flex and break. We have observed a 8+whp gain in power over the factory airbox! This units flows more air than the factory airbox and does require the bike to be tuned. We do not provide installation instructions, we recommend following the factory manual for removing the stock airbox and then install our box in place of the factory unit. Evap Solenoid bracket and subframe side inserts need removed for installation. These are made to order and will ship in 3-5 days of ordering.
